Chili Crisp Pesto Pasta

Who doesn't love a pasta dish? This chili crisp pesto pasta is a delicious blend of flavors! Feel free to use your own pesto and chili crisp oil, however I find my walnut pesto and chili crisp oil recipes blend beautifully together in this pasta dish. Hope you make this recipe, and enjoy it just as much as we do!

Chili Crisp Pesto Pasta

Serves 2

Prep Time: 5 minutes (not including pesto or chili crisp recipes)

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 4-6 oz. Spaghetti Noodles
  • Chicken Breast, cut in half or butterflied
  • Olive Oil
  • Garlic Powder
  • Onion Powder
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 1 T. Butter
  • Pesto Sauce (recipe on blog)
  • Chili Crisp Oil (recipe on blog)
  • Parmesan, grated

Instructions:

  1. Make pesto and chili crisp oil, if not already made.
  2. Cook the noodles: Fill a large pot with water and place on high heat. Don't forget to salt the pasta water. Once boiling, add noodles and cook to your desired likeness.
  3. Cook the chicken: Place a medium fry pan on medium-high heat with a drizzle of cooking oil. While the pan is heating, season the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Place chicken in the pan and cook for 1 minute, flip, then cook for another minute. Add butter into the pan and turn the heat down to medium-low. Continue to cook the chicken, flipping every few minutes till the internal temperature reaches 164* Fahrenheit. Let it rest before cutting.
  4. Place a serving of noodles into a bowl and mix in some pesto sauce. Place chicken and a generous spoonful of chili crisp oil on the noodles. Grate some parmesan cheese over and enjoy!
